How to add a low Bandwidth Communication in Simulink

I'm working on desiging a parallel converters control in dc microgrids on MATLAB Simulink and I need to add a low bandwidth communication between secondary and primary control. So far I was only able to add a unit dealy but that is very small delay and i need to increase that delay so how can i add a low bandwidth communication in simulink. Please help.

Hello Hussain,

if you want the delay to be disreet, you can use a rate transition block to use unit delays at different time steps. You can also put multi step delays, but it is more efficient to use the rate transition when possible.
