how i can chenge directory?

hi when use 'cd' for chenge directory how can i save it? for example i write 'cd c:\mat1>' how can i save this directory?

I am not certain what you are doing, but once you change a directory with cd it should remain changed until you change it back (or restart MATLAB or your computer, which would cause the directory assignments to revert to their default directories).
