2D data on 3D plot to create surface plot

Hi,

I conducted an experiment to illustrate the change in a microphone's frequency response with its placement. I have 8 sets of data (frequency and magnitude) which give me the frequency response at 8 locations. The plots look like these"

Now I would like to plot all 8 plots as a 3D plot, like this:

I would greatly appreciate anyone's help with this. I've tried using matlab's surf function, but to far have been unsuccessful.

Experiment with the ribbon function. It can probably do what you want.
