Pick selected values in a vector

I have this vector V_min_var that is 3731x1, this vector stores the results from a for-loop. I want to pick selected values from the vector, row 1001 until the end, but skipping 10 places... so for example I want to take the values at rows: 1001,1011,1021,1031,1041, etc until the end.

Would this work?

Portfolio_1= V_min_var(1001:10:end)
