out=max(out,C)

One method:
ActualMatrix(:,:,1) = A;
ActualMatrix(:,:,2) = B;
ActualMatrix(:,:,3) = C;
AcutalMatrix(isnan(ActualMatrix)) = 0;
answer = sum(ActualMatrix,3);
