Loading multiple surface files from Avizo to MATLAB

Hello, I am trying to load multiple image datasets from Avizo onto MATLAB for mapping, and coordinate changes, I found a code on Mathworks for the reverse process, but any suggestiobns would be really helpful to make it a bit easier to navigate.
