how to color some regions of image?

good day i have an image of exudates detected ..but these exudates are not clearly visible..can i cahne only the color of exudates to green and overlay it on y retinal image

Not sure what "cahne" means, but see Steve's blog for making one image transparent over another: http://blogs.mathworks.com/steve/2009/02/18/image-overlay-using-transparency/
