Simulink Model Reference, is it possible to reference a subblock?

I need to referenced a submodule. Currently only know model referenced to .slx file.

Is it possible to reference A.slx/submdl? or is there a quick way to turn A.slx/submdl into a standalone .slx file other than Ctrl+A and Ctrl+V to a new file (because my submdl has mask).

There is indeed a tool to Convert a Subsystem to a Referenced Model.
