Arduino support package for 64bit Macbook

I can not install Arduino support package on R2013a running on Mac book, 64bit? It is just disabled from the support package install menu.

Are you referring to the following package? http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/32374-matlab-support-package-for-arduino-aka-arduinoio-package

If yes, this the IDE is available for Mac users. But according to the readme file of the package, there is no mention of accessing the serial port

If no, can you elaborate more on your workflow?

I am having the same exact issue. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could please offer some insight to resolve this issue. I am unable to execute any action whatsoever, leaving me helpless. I've read on several other forums that this package should be available as of the R2013a version of Matlab.
