Read a patch draw

I made a draw with PATCH.
i want now to be able to recover the coordinates of the vertex touching them with the mouse as the DATA CURSOR makes and to can export the result to the work sapce like the EXPORT DATA option in DATA CURSOR makes. I want to do it throug program. Is it possible ?

I wonder if you could use "data brushing" ?
