Hi all,
I have a 4d data, The data points are collected for (111) plane of a cube. The variables are, x, y, z (position co-ordinates) and c(force) which I want to plot on this (111) plane. Note that c is not any function of x,y,z. I had tried scatter3,plot4d and other but was unsuccessful.
All I want to do is to plot the c as a color scale on (111) plane for the corresponding data points. The desired graphical representation is not points but rather contour surface. Any suggestion would be appreciated. thanks in advance

I don't think I understand what you mean about (111) ?
Would isosurface() or slice() possibly be useful for you?

Thank you for your comment. I am actually using here miller indices notation like Crystallography. This might help: http://www.chem.qmul.ac.uk/surfaces/scc/scat1_1b.htm. The data points I am having lying on this (111) plane.

@Phillippe. Will you please stop reviving multiple different questions. The various question you have revived are not the same. So your question is at best somewhat related. If you have a SPECIFIC question, then ask it.
