Using GUI for a remote connection

I have a powerful computer and a personal laptop, with Matlab installed on both. Being inspired by the Matlab for iOS, I would like to use the Matlab GUI on my laptop as a thin client to the system running on the computer. I.e., I start Matlab on the laptop, connect to the computer and then have all calculations performed on the computer, while the output, variables and plots to be shown on my laptop. I'm sure it's possible somehow, but still didn't find an exact solution how to do that. I would be very grateful for any help.
