Communication between matlab and php through tcpip

A problem of MATLAB tcpip:

the server side is built by MATLAB for computation, and client side is built by php for interfacing the users.

there are communication between the server and the client, and the behavior of the server is controlled by the client.

how to build PHP based client to access the server?
