why doesn't dsp.audioplayer work if executed within a function??

Hi,

I'm trying to play and record in full duplex mode. I'm using dsp.toolbox with ASIO.

My problem is that i have a script working just fine, but later i tried to fit that into a function and the dsp.audioplayer doesn't sound anymore.

Everything works excellent until i try to make it into a function, i get no error messages, nothing. It records, but it doesn't play any sound.

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with object handling, but i have no idea how to fix this.

Any ideas??
