Add target computer to target computers object

Syntax

addTarget(tgs,targetName,ipAddress,userName,password)

Description

addTarget(tgs,targetName,ipAddress,userName,password) adds the specified target to the object.

Examples

Add a target

Create a target object and add a target with name LinuxTarget1 containing user name user1, password myPassword, and IP address.

tgs = linux.Targets();
tg = tgs.addTarget("LinuxTarget1", "178.10.10.1", "user1", "myPassword");

Input Arguments

tgs — Targets object

handle

Target object created by the linux.Targets class.

Example: tgs, target_object

targetName — Target name

character vector | string scalar

Specify a name for the target.

Example: "LinuxTarget1"

ipAddress — IP address of the target

character vector | string scalar

Specify the IP address of the target.

Example: "178.10.10.1"

userName — User name of the target

character vector | string scalar

Specify the user name for the target.

Example: "user1"

password — Password for the respective user

character vector | string scalar

Specify the password for the user on the target.

Example: "myPassword"
