Updating My TCP/IP Link to Support Unicode Characters

I was told by a colleague that one of my MATLAB^® string-searching web apps did not work for Chinese strings. After investigating, I realized the way I implemented it limited support to ACSII characters. So I need to update my code in a couple of places to get it to work.
