Jinya Su is a lecturer in the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering at University of Essex since August, 2019.
He won the Best Student Paper Award of Control Applications for ICAC 2013 (International Conference on Automation and Computing), the IEEE-IES Student Paper Travel Award for ICIT 2016 (IEEE International Conference on Industrial Technology), the EPSRC Full Studentship for PhD study during 2012 and 2015, the School of AACME Research Student Development Fund in 2016, the ABTA Doctoral Researcher Awards in 2016. Recently, he also received a prestigious Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-financed Students Abroad 2015.
Jinya Su's research interests include disturbance observer based control, fault diagnosis, situation awareness and decision making.
