I am Professor. within the Department of information technic at Northern Technical University Iraq, Kirkuk. since 2000 i got my M.Sc degree from University of Technology - Computer Science in Digital image restoration From September 2013, I am enrolled on a research programme leading to a PhD degree at Sheffield Hallam University, UK. The research is concerned with developing new methods for image compression appropriate for robust structured light 3D reconstruction and texture mapping. The work is focused on 2D image and video image compression, comparative analysis with existing methods and 3D image analysis.
