Gear Tooth Profile Plotter

This is a plotting function for gear tooth with an involute profile.

The involute curve is the most commonly used profile for gear tooth design since it is one of the only few curves that can maintain a constant speed ratio between the two wheels other than the cycloid curve. For more information on involute curve generation, refer to the following:
