getBeltVelocity

Determines the instantaneous treadmill belt velocity from reflective marker patches attached to the left and right borders of the treadmill.

Function getBeltVelocity returns the instantantaneous velocity of a treadmill belt using reflective marker patches and a motion capture system. The function works with c3d files and requires the btk toolkit to be installed for reading the c3d file data into Matlab (http://biomechanical-toolkit.github.io/docs/Wrapping/Matlab/index.html). The treadmill markers do not
have to be labeled, but need to exist as 'ghost markers' in the c3d file. Please check and cite the attached conference abstracts and poster.
TestBeltVelocity.m provides an example for the three different *.c3d file examples (for OptiTrack, Vicon and Qualisys motion capture systems).
