Calendar_var is a set of MATLAB functions that generate deterministic variables to deal with calendar effects in monthly economic time series. The list of calendar effects is:

- Leap year.
- Easter (in general, movable feasts).
- Trading-day (monthly composition).
- Length of the month.
- Working days according to a predetermined working calendar.
