I fixed the test.
fileread hack doesnt work anymore on cody?
You are right, it seems the entire "using and alternative function name" issue has been fixed (this is fantastic news, that was getting a bit out of hand). Also now verifyCode seems to be obfuscated using .p functions as well! Perhaps we should re-open a new hacking series to test the new system. This is going to be so much fun!!
Perhaps relatedly, the 'Test solution' button when creating a new problem does not seem to work any longer. I tested this on a couple of computers (both using Chrome), anybody else experiencing this?
even solving the previous hack problems would be fun given the changes in the system. excited to see what ideas you people are bringing
Yes, I am having the same problem with the "Test reference solution" button. It hasn't worked for many weeks now. I've e-mailed Ned and Santosh regarding the problem, and they're working on trying to fix it, but it doesn't seem to be high priority. For reference, see the comments on this problem: http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/cody/problems/42385-combined-ages-4-non-symmetric-with-multiples-n-3.
Just an update, the "Test reference solution" button issue has been fixed now and they are working on some of the other issues (thanks Cody team!)
Maybe there is a problem with the test suite. could you verify the brackets?
