3-D Surface

Hello,

I have a three dimensional rough surface that I need to find the volume of. Is there a way I can connect all the points on the edge of a surface to create a flat surface underneath the original rough surface? My surface is sloping and I don't want to integrate up from the xy-plane. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
