Microsoft Surface Pro

tablets are fully supported by MathWorks. MATLAB will run on a Surface Pro tablet provided that the release of MATLAB being installed is supported on the version of Windows the tablet is running. See the system requirements page for more information:

Microsoft Surface RT

tablets are not compatible with MATLAB.
