Find Partial Sums of a Function.

I have a funtion ...
erfx(n) = ( 2 / sqrt(pi) ) * ( ( ( (-1).^i ) * ( x.^((2*i)+1) ) ) / ( ( (2*i) + 1 ) * ( factorial(i) ) ) ).
I also have x = linspace(-2,2,100). I am having some difficulty finding the partial sums of this series. I need to find S_n (partial sums) for N = 1, 3, 5, 7, 9.
Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated!
