The code is:
fun = @(x) 10*exp(-50*abs(x)) - 0.01./((x-0.5).^2+0.001) + 5*sin(5*x);
tol = 10^-5; %relative tolerance
format long
I=quadl(fun,-1.00,1.00,tol,2);
Above is the code I am interested in. By using quadl with a nonzero trace (2 in this case), it shows the values of [fcnt a b-a Q] (see http://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/ref/quad.html).
After executing the code, you will get 4 columns of #s. I would like to index into the second column (a I believe) as I would like to plot these values.
How would I be able to index into this?
