Exponential Map form - Distance Measurement

First of all thanks for taking the time to read my question. I have recently come into contact with a set of data that is in Exponential Map form (100*200). I have never come across them in my previous line of work. My limited understanding is that they are based on generating a manifold embedding of the geometric features of the scene on which to estimate trajectories primarily of motion.

The issue I am having, and seeking advice/comments is the following. I am seeking to compare two different EM forms that are both the same dimensions - how best should I approach the topic of comparing based on similarity/distance?
