Matlab freezes while using filter design toolbox

Hi,

When I tried to use any filter design toolbox function (fdesign.pulseshaping, fdatool and others), Matlab gets stuck processing that in such a way that even ctrl + c doesn't interrupt the process. What could possibly cause that?
