How can I plot modes for shear building?

I am new to MATLAB. I have to solve a problem on MATLAB related to 2D 3 story shear building model analysis. I have done it manually but I don't know how to plot modes on MATLAB. Can any one guide me? Also I have to implement New-mak Beta Algorithm for time-integration of dynamic equilibrium equation.
