mex @rsp_file (windows) commenting

Hi All -

I'm using a text file to pass in the necessary command line arguments for mex'ing such as

mex someFunc.cpp @mexOpts.txt

That is working without issue. I was curious to know if it is possible to add comments to this file? I've tried a handful of known comment type identifiers (e.g. //, !, %, REM, /**/) and they all fail. If anyone has had any success and can please share.

The pound (#) symbol usually denotes comments in MEX options files.

Unfortunately this produces an error and is not the solution:

 ...\BIN\MEX.PL: Error: '#' not found.
