Accessing Abaqus ODB information and executing python scripts using MATLAB

I have a python script that extracts results from an Abaqus ODB file. I currently have to execute the script within the Abaqus ODB file by typing >>>execfile('filename.py'), but I have to do this for about 100 ODB files.

How can I script/automate this process in MATLAB so that I don't have to physically open the ODB files/ execute the python scripts manually?
