how to remove zero frequency from fft curve

hi all i m facing a problem in analysis of frquency from fft plot. in this curve the peak starts from zero . it is also happen when mean value is subtrcted. i tried with fftshift() but it shifts all the values which is not required .why it happens and how it will be removed.if i have to left these values (on which zero frequency occurs)then what should i have to do. plz help me.
