Sim multibody simple example

Please can any one give me a simple example of a pulley system a weight attached to a single pulley with a fixed length cable I am unable to discern it from a example what I am trying to do is simulate a haptic system and transmit the forces the mass attached to a pulley or a set of pulleys will give and how they will change with the mass and the MF (mechanical factor of pulley system. I dont know how to attach the mass please help.)
