Some toolboxes are not found after installed Matlab R2008a in Windows 8 64-bit

I got an installation package from my Professor which is R2008a version including 5 toolboxes. Previously I used these in Windows 7 32-bit without any problem.

But since I had changed my OS from windows 7 32-bit into windows 8 64-bit, I re-installed Matlab R2008a again. There was no problem during installation and program can be used normally. But some of purchased toolboxes were not found; Data Acquisition, Image Acquisition, and Instrument Control Toolbox.

Could you please help me to solve this problem.

This is a question for the technical support, which solves installation problems.

Not all products are available for all platforms and architectures. E.g. today the Data Acquisition Toolbox is available for Win32, Win64, but not for Mac64 and Linux64.

I am pretty sure those 3 products were not supported on Win64 5y ago.

I suggest you upgrade.

Oh and probably also as R2008a was definitely not supported for Win8...
