A problem about wavelet coefficient quantizaton

When I processed an image with DWT,I found that the wavelet coefficient were floating-point data type. To process the data,I want to change it into integers(maybe use some method like quantizaton in DCT),but still now I can't do it. I need some help .Thanks.
