generate function and save it

i generate new function (triarea) and i test it in work space and it work

probably , but the problem when i want to save it , say (undefine input argument)

the code is show below

_||function a= triarea (b,h)

 a=0.5*(b.*h);||_

error show below

||Input argument "b" is undefined.

Error in ==> triarea at 2

a=0.5*(b.*h);||

 triarea(1,2)

What is the error message?
