Try to install MATLAB Runtime r2013a install on Mac

Downloaded zip file, unziped file, clicked on install in unzipped directory. Result -> in terminal error was: Error: Cannot locate Java Runtime Environment (JRE).

Just scrap it and get the latest version. Why try to use a 7 year old version? Where did you download a 7 year old version from anyway?

Otherwise, find Java on the web somewhere and install it, or call MATLAB for free and fast help.

Thank you for the input. I have created a service request with matlab. I saw a phone number for Technical Support: (508-647-7000) but I think there office hours are mon-friday. I could try calling monday.

I have r2020b i just needed r2013a to generate .cae files from matlab code. The cae files are of a knee implant. The MATLAB runtime versions can be downloaded at the following:
