Using same gobal simulation options for a model and all the models that are referred in it

Hi,

I am working with a simulink model that refers to another model using MODEL REFERENCE block. How can I make sure that both, my model and the referred model, use the same simulation options such as solver, maxstep etc. And also what are the other important settings that I need to use when referring the model?
