MATLAB app display error

This is my matlab app

I have doubt my transfer function F or say my iLap1 is not getting displayed in the Time_Equation edit filed i dont why it is showing me error as you can see it showing error value must a character , can some one please correct the error for me please it will be very helpful.

Dear Sohail,

The error message indicates that the Edit Field's Value must be a character vector or string. MATLAB does not automatically convert a 'sym' variable to a char, but you can do so by using the "char" function.

So in your case, you need to change the line:

>> app.Time_EquationEditField.Value = iLap1;

to

>> app.Time_EquationEditField.Value = char(iLap1);
