Plot not looking like equation should.

Here's the code I have:

for i = 1:1:39

a = ((i+1)/40);

b = ((40-i)/40);

end

I want the graph to look like this:

point (0,y) should be joined to point (C-y, 0) for some constant C

eg 0 1 to 5 0, 0 2 to 4 0, 0 3 to 3 0, 0 4 to 2 0, 0 5 to 1 0
