PointGrey Camera set to extended shutter mode

Hi all,

I'm using the matlab IMAQ tool box and CMU 1394 driver to control my pointgrey firewire camera. In order to use the extended shutter mode to have longer shutter time, i need to turn off the FRAME_RATE register bit. Does anyone know how to do this using matlab?

matlab 2012b 32-bit with the firepro driver should work. coz the new image acquisition toolbox has the pointgery firewire adapter built in.
