Digital communication - FM demodulation

While using demod function for fm demodulation, demodulation is not occuring for the wideband spectrum. Is there a particular reason for the same.? Or Is there any particular setting to be done for wide band signal.
My sampling at 100 KHz
My signal is at 10 Hz
my carrier signal is 20 KHz
& frequency deviation is 200 Hz
Beta value is 20.
