What is the meaning of E in state space represenation of dynamical system

Converting from transsfer function to state space represenation give 5 matrix ABCDE. What is represented by E?

Hi,

If you are using tf2ss to convert the transfer function to State space model then it will not return the E matrix. That form is only represented through dss in which the state space model contains all the matrices to represent interdependency between gradient of state variables.
