Text based image retrieval

Hello,

I have tried executing an open-source image-based retrieval system using https://github.com/kirk86/ImageRetrieval , and it was a successful attempt. Now I want to implement an integrated system that can handle semantic/text features (annotations). In other words, I want to add a semantic retrieval system to the current system. I need suggestions to refer to any existing text-based retrieval in Matlab to integrate into the existing CBIR. Please, any references or advice would be a great help?

You might get lucky but I think it's unlikely that the right person will see this question. The right person would be someone who is already familiar with the open-source image-based retrieval system you shared, and who understands what you're describing, and knows enough about Matlab to implement what you're describing, and has the motivation and time to invest into doing that.

You may have better luck in some other forum that focuses on that system, if one exists.

Alternatively, you could ask a more specific question that focuses on a small area where you're stuck and explain the inputs/outputs without relying on anyone being familiar with the external image retrieval software.
