Move computations to server

I have Matlab locally installed on my machine and I have access to a server (via ssh) with no Matlab installed. I would like to user the server's computing power to support my computations. It seems that the whole Matlab Parallel Server thing is not what i'm looking for. Is what I'm trying to do somehow possible?

It sounds to me like you would have to install Matlab on that server, but I have no experience with this so I could be wrong.

As you have already mentioned Matlab Parallel Server is the best option for these kind of scenarios. I guess you won't be able to do any kind of MATLAB Computation on a server with no MATLAB installed.
