Generate code for Discrete Varying PID Simulink Block in subsystem

Using the Simulink Coder App, I'm trying to generate code for a subsystem that includes the Discrete Varying PID controller. I keep recieving the same error of "too many output arguments." Is this becuase the varying PID simulink block? Or could there be another issue?

The PID block is not the issue here since it is supported for codegen(I tried it out and it built code without an issue). Maybe something down the line in the model?
