Matlab Tasks from proffesor

So proffesor gave me some tasks but with solutions. And i don't get wtf are these solutions MAMAAAAAAAA

Primer means example so in that pic there's 2 which neither of 1 i don't get x_x

I have to simplify 1st The 2nd i need to solve

• define symbolic variables
• write out the expression in linear math notation
• ask Matlab to rewrite the equation as simply as it can
