include isolines in colormap/colorbar

I have a surface-plot on top of which I plot a 3D-contour-plot. Is it possible to add the contour-lines in the colormap/colorbar of the surface-plot? The surface-plot has a smooth colormap, and I want small lines in the color of the contour-plot incorporated in the colorbar.
