mididevinfo doesn't recognize my device

I'm using the audio toolbox extension to try to access my piano keyboard as a midi input. When I use the mididevinfo command it returns as not recognized eventhough it is recognized as an input and output in other software. Any ideas?

Is your keyboard connected to your computer before starting MATLAB?

Is your keyboard being accessed by any other program?

Try connecting your keyboard, closing any other applications that might have accessed it, and then starting MATLAB.
