Plot geographical datas on a map from .csv file

Hi, i'm currently working on fire pixels data in Africa and South America. I downloaded an enormous amount of datas that I have to plot on different maps monthly. The files contains the coordonates and the date that I need. I'm trying to genereate the points on the specifics area but my level in matlab isn't that good and so I have no clue on the way to select the data for each month in the file and put them on the map according to the geographical coordonates...

Does anyone can help me do it ?

Without knowing the details, and if you do not have the Mapping Toolbox and do have R2018b or later, consider using the geoscatter function.
